Al-Ain World Cup was centered around my performance evaluation
Sareh Javanmardi, one of the Iran’s most decorated Paralympic athletes made an interview with IRISFD’s Public Relations, as she prepares for Tokyo 2020.
The two-time Paralympic champion said: “our training camp is being held at the morning- evening sessions under the supervision of national team coaches. While approaching the Tokyo Games, I will push the pressures on. the 37-year-old Paralympian went on: my ambition is to make the best use of my experience to get a good outcome at the Paralympic Games. However, during the training breaks, the practice instructions would be sent by coaches to be followed”.
She stated: “competitive action resumed at the beginning of Farvardin and we went back in action at Al Ain 2021 World Shooting Para Sport World Cup, a tournament that was organized entirely by COVID protocols. There, I could evaluate my performance and my rivals in person”.
Referring to her glorious results in Al Ain 2021 world cup, she said: “I am very happy to retain the P2 – Women’s 10m Air Pistol SH title after such a long time, where all of my rivals attended” said 2019 World Shooting Para Sport Championships silver medalist. “I seized another gold in P4 – Mixed 50m Pistol SH1, but had to settle for the silver in P4 – Mixed 50m Pistol SH. I want to continue to get good results in the Tokyo Games. I now turn my sights to the Tokyo Paralympic Games. It carries great significance to be successful there”.
She has welcomed the postponement of the Tokyo paralympic and takes it as a chance. Javanmardi Said: “I hope the Games will remain unchanged and stage according to schedule, as I will try my best to give my utmost performance”.
Javanmardi concludes: “I want to extend my thanks to I.R NPC, IRISFD and team coaching staff for their support and wish good luck for Iran national para shooting team at the Tokyo Paralympic Games”.
