Amir Jafari finish atop in Men Up to 65kg at the 2021 World Para Powerlifting World Cup in Thailand

The 2021 World Para Powerlifting World Cup in Thailand has been started and Amir Jafari from I.R Iran claimed the gold medal after defeating his rivals.

Based on the report of IRISFD’s Public Relations, Iran’s representative, Amir Jafari in the Men Up to 65 kg category, cleared the bar at 182kg and 197kg in his initial attempts and failed at 201kg in his third attempt, but managing to push 197kg in the second attempt was enough to finishing at first podium and taking gold in day 1 – Thursday 6th May 2021.

Athletes from Kazakhstan and Thailand completed the podium in this category.

In the second day of the 2021 World Para Powerlifting World Cup in Thailand, two Para Powerlifting athletes from Iran, Nader Moradi & Rouhollah Rostami in the Men Up to 72kg and 80kg will compete in the stage of World cup respectively.

60 athletes from 9 countries in the Junior and senior age groups vie at the 2021 World Para Powerlifting World Cup in Thailand.
