IFCPF cancels all events in 2021

The International Federation of Cerebral Palsy Football (IFCPF) has announced it has cancelled of all its events for 2021, Due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a statement, the IFCPF said: “After Conducting a member survey to collect feedback, the IFCPF Board have therefore come to the very difficult and challenging decision to cancel its 2021 event program.  Below is a list of the IFCPF 2021 events that have been rescheduled to 2022 as a result of the coronavirus:

  • 2022 IFCPF Champions League (clubs)
  • 2022 IFCPF World Cup (male)
  • 2022 IFCPF World Cup (female)
  • 2022 IFCPF World Championships (male)

“Of course as football supporters, we are all disappointed with the situation” said Jan-Hein Evers, the president of IFCPF. “But we believe that together we can now focus on developing strong national programs and friendly competition between neighboring countries and look forward to a 2022 event program.”
